Valuation for buying and selling
Before agreeing a purchase or sale price, understand what supports the value. Capstone assesses real estate, movable assets and businesses in Georgia for buyers and sellers. We separate asking prices from market evidence and explain how location, condition, income and transaction assumptions affect the result.
Scope and deliverables
Property transactions
For apartments, houses, land and commercial premises, we inspect the property and compare relevant market evidence. The analysis highlights the characteristics that can strengthen or weaken a price position.
Asset and equipment sales
We consider age, condition, specification and market availability. Where appropriate, we distinguish the value of equipment in use from the assumptions involved in a separate sale.
Business and ownership interests
We review financial performance, prospects and the rights attached to the interest being valued. The assignment can support negotiations for a whole company or a specified ownership stake.
When to commission a valuation
- Before making or accepting an offer
- Setting an asking price with an independent reference
- Negotiating a property, asset or business sale

Frequently asked questions
Will the valuation equal the agreed price?
Not necessarily. A negotiated price can reflect timing, financing, special terms or buyer-specific considerations. We explain the basis of our conclusion.
Can you value a property before I buy it?
Yes, subject to agreed access and sufficient information. Tell us about any inspection or document limitations before the assignment.
Does the valuation include legal due diligence?
A valuation is not a legal title opinion. We review available information relevant to value; legal and technical due diligence should be separately agreed with the appropriate specialists.
